Northwest General Engineering is Hiring a Construction Foreman (FT) Near Santa Rosa, CA
In search of a competent Construction Foreman to coordinate operations and oversee workers at construction sites in the Sonoma County California area. particularly in search of a construction foreman with a solid background in grading or underground or asphalt paving. Must be experienced.
- Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans.
- Allocate general and daily responsibilities.
- Supervise and train workers and tradespeople.
- Ensure manpower and resources are adequate.
- Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met.
- Supervise the use of machinery and equipment.
- Monitor quality control.
- Resolve problems when they arise.
- Report on progress to managers daily.
- 3-5 years experience as a paving, underground, and or grading foreman.
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures and equipment.
- Must have good leadership and communication skills.
- ability to read plans & specifications and properly lay out a site.
- Aptitude in math Problem-solving abilities Good physical condition.
Weekends and overtime will be requested during the busy season.
