General Responsibilities:

• Under the direction of the Student Minister, provide support to the implementation of key methods, best practices, polices and procedures of the student ministry.
• Assist in planning and preparation for volunteer training and recruitment.
• Assist in developing, managing, and monitoring student ministry budget.

Ministry Responsibilities:

• Through both direct participation and administrative support, provide assistance in weekly worship services in the form of teaching opportunities, games, announcements, and helping lead small groups when necessary.
• Assist in planning and executing student ministry events throughout the year such as retreats, camps, mission trips, and other fun events in town.
• Arrange opportunities for students to connect with one another to foster relationships.
• Be a physical presence on school campuses including at Christian clubs, lunches, extracurricular activities, and other opportunities in order to connect with students and their peers, school staff, and parents while representing Northwest Bible Church well.
• Assist Student Minister and family team in helping execute strategies to equip parents for a lifestyle of discipleship in their home. Build personal relationships with students, leaders, and parents.
• Attend weekly student team meeting.
• Other responsibilities as required.

As a religious organization, all employees must affirm and adhere to the Church’s Doctrinal Statement of Faith and Statement on Marriage and Human Sexuality based upon its sincerely held religious beliefs, to qualify for involvement with the ministry. This is necessary to accomplish the Church’s religious mission, goals, and purpose.

• Active membership and participation at Northwest Bible Church.
• Pursuing a path to ministry and has a desire to grow in vocational ministry.
• Previous experience working with youth.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Bachelors degree preferred.
