The incumbent is responsible for teaching Adult Education ESL/Civics/Citizenship classes in a variety of formats (classrooms, learning labs, online) and subject areas; on flexible schedules (days, evenings, during and between semesters) and recruiting students. The instructor will plan, organize and coordinate instruction, participate in professional development, provide guidance and direction to students, participate in program activities and initiatives, and other duties as assigned. Instructors will work forty hours per week with thirty- two hours being direct instruction.Essential Duties

Education Experience
Bachelor's degree, (Master's degree or five years teaching experience preferred); must hold a current Arkansas Department of Education Teacher Certificate and obtain Adult Education endorsement within three years of being hired fulltime. ESL Certification preferred.
