Position Title: Solutions Architect – Data Center
Location: Virtual office covering Midwest region
Compensation: To 140K base / 175K OTE

Summary of Responsibilities
Subject Matter Expert providing technical expertise for pre-sales engineering opportunities. Candidates MUST be able to assess customer needs and tailor customized solutions moderate to complex in nature to fit business needs and justify costs related to design, implementation and training. Works with customers to align technology to their business opportunities and needs in context of their Data Center strategy.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Participates in customer and prospects meetings, presentations, gathering requirements and competitive positioning.
• Technical account management conducting effective hands-on product demonstrations and technical discussions with prospects, customers and partners both onsite and via video/conference calls.
• Works with customers in planning and designing highly successful Data Center environments.
• Consults on design, support, and management of recommended solutions.
• Analyzes customer needs, issues and interests to formulate a strategy that will achieve business objectives.
• Consultation on design, support, and management of recommended solutions.
• Create, review and/or evaluate technical business scopes of work, technical bills of material, solution quotes, and technical Levels of Effort.
• Stays up to date with Data Center technologies (compute, storage, and Virtualization) and Data Center manufacturers programs and promotions.

Qualifications
Must have 10 years proven experience in Datacenter solutions

• Solid experience in Datacenter compute product lines (deployments, administration and troubleshoot).
• Solid Experience in Cisco UCS product line (deployments, administration and troubleshoot).
• Solid Experience in Cisco MDS product line (deployments, administration and troubleshoot)
• Excellent Presentation skills.
• Storage systems and arrays.
• Virtualization (Vmware) experience is required.

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

• Nexus 9k is a plus

• Cisco ACI is a plus
• Python, Powershell and other scripting experience a plus
• CliQr, vRA or UCSD experience a plus
