Position: Mental Health Professional Fully Licensed

NorthStar Regional is seeking a fully licensed Mental Health Professional to serve in our Otsego, MN Location working in both the Co-Occurring Disorders treatment program and seeing individual clients. Candidate must be a Licensed Mental Health Professional (such as LPCC, LMFT etc.) in order to be considered for the position.

Fully Licensed Mental Health Professional Duties including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Ability to work with clients on a variety mental health concerns and family dynamics
  • Provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, groups, or families to help them understand problems, define goals, and develop realistic action plans.
  • Develop therapeutic relationships and treatment plans based on clients' interests, abilities, and needs.
  • Evaluate the results of counseling methods to determine the reliability and validity of treatments.
  • Coordinate care with other treating professionals.
  • Use a variety of therapeutic techniques to help the client achieve personal goals
  • Refer clients to specialists when appropriate
  • Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintain them over time.
  • Complete Diagnostic Assessments and Individual Treatment plan

Fully Licensed Mental Health Professional Education Requirements

To work as a mental health professional and deliver patient care at NorthStar Regional, one must meet the certification or licensing requirements in the state of Minnesota. One of the following degrees is required:

  • M.A., Ph.D. or Psy.D. in psychology (If M.A., must be LP)
  • Masters degree in Clinical Social Work
  • Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy
  • Masters degree in Counseling

Additionally, you must be Licensed in one of the following MN certifications:

  • Licensed Psychologist
  • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Minnesota Department of Health requires all healthcare employees to have a current TB/Mantoux screening.

This is a 100% in-person position, NO REMOTE work available at this time.

You must be able to work all shifts as scheduled

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Hiring Bonus Details: $10,000 bonus paid at increments of $2,500 at 30 days, 90 days, 1 year and 2 years of continuous employment.
