Chesapeake Regional Medical Center is a 310 private bed community-based hospital, which located in the Hampton Roads region. Built in 1976, the facility has been a major health resource for southeastern Virginia and northeastern North Carolina residents. Chesapeake Regional Medical Center continues to grow and provides innovative, technologically advanced heath care for their residents. The organization offers comprehensive cancer care, and has a nationally accredited Chest Pain Center, Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence, state-of-the-art Neurosciences program and has one of the busiest emergency department and maternity ward in the area. Additionally, Chesapeake Regional Medical Center employs over 600 physicians from every major discipline and is governed by the Chesapeake Hospital Authority.
