Northside Welding & Fabrication is Hiring a Concrete finisher Near Helena, MT
Northside has been a part of the local community for a long time. We are looking for both skilled and unskilled laborers to join our team.
Applicants will perform a variety of tasks including placing and finishing concrete. Applicants will need to be ok working in various weather conditions and outdoor elements.
Applicants need to be able to work alone under little supervision and keep a positive attitude working with others as a team.
If you are willing to follow safety guidelines and have an understanding of concrete techniques, methods of construction and are proficient using concrete equipment and basic measurement tools apply now to get started gaining hands on experience.
Experience preferred but we are willing to train people that are motivated, punctual and have a positive attitude.
- Checking forms for proper construction
- Setting forms to desired slope, depth and proper alignment
- Spread, level and smooth concrete using rake, shovel, hand float and bull flat
- Mold expansion joints and edges using edging tools, jointer and straight edge
- Ability to operate hand and power tools such as : concrete saws, power vibrators
- Ability to operate skid steers and forklifts
- May required travel to different job sites up to 100 miles away (via company truck)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more
- Driver license required and reliable transportation
- Must be willing to work overtime
