Details:

This is a 1099 contract to hire role at the end of one year. Compensation is $18 for the first 90 days and then increase to $20 per hour. We provide two bonus opportunities per year. We include 2 weeks paid vacation and paid holidays. Our shop is located in the eclectic Northside neighborhood. We are a LGBTQ owned company and want someone who is comfortable around all types of people. Our shop also participates as a vendor for various events and festivals such as Pride, Rock & Roll, Taste of Cincinnati, and the Flying Pig.

Job Summary:

We are a small locally owned print shop with a reputation for quality and service. Our shop specializes in a variety of digital printing including stickets, magnets, posters, apparel, promo items, decals, and more. We offer digital printing, large format printing, and custom design services.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced team leader to join our team. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the print production process, ensuring high-quality output and timely delivery. This is a key role within our organization, requiring strong leadership skills and expertise in print production.

Equipment and Software:

Our equipment includes Roland BN20's, Canon Wide format printers, Epson Eco Tanks, various vinyl cutters and scanners. Our software suite includes Google products, Adobe illustrator, Adobe photoshop, and web based applications

Duties:
- Manage and coordinate print production activities, including pre print, printing, and finishing operations, providing a high level of detail and quality control
- Ensure that all print jobs are completed on time and meet quality standards
- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and provide guidance on print options
- Develop and implement production schedules to optimize efficiency and meet deadlines
- Monitor inventory levels of printing materials and supplies, and coordinate orders as needed
- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure accurate color reproduction and print quality
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate maintenance or repairs as necessary
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in printing technology

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a printer or graphic designer or similar role in the printing industry
- Strong knowledge of print production processes, including prepress, press, finishing, and quality control
- Proficiency in typography, layout design, and print advertising using Adobe products
- Familiarity with digital printers and large format printing.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams
