Speech-Language Pathologist - Enhancing Communication at Venza Care at Northside Healthcare 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations to assess patients' speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with various diagnoses.
• Provide therapy sessions consistent with patients' needs and goals, and adjust as necessary.
• Document and report on patients' progress and outcomes.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to integrate speech-language pathology services with other healthcare services.
• Educate patients and their families about communication strategies and techniques for managing speech and language impairments.
• Participate in professional development activities and stay current with the latest research in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Valid state license/certification to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Experience with a variety of communication and swallowing disorders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
