Job Description

Overview: Northside Assembly is seeking a dedicated and experienced Campus Custodian to join our team. The Campus Custodian will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities, ensuring that our environment is welcoming and prepared for all services and events. The Campus Custodian will report directly to the Operations Pastor. This position will not have a set weekly schedule and will require some weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform thorough cleaning of the facility, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal among other cleaning tasks.

· Conduct general maintenance tasks, such as minor repairs, painting, and upkeep of equipment.

· Set up rooms and areas for events, meetings, and services, including arranging furniture and equipment.

· Lock and unlock the building according to scheduled events and services.

· Ensure the building is ready and presentable for all church services, meetings, and events.

· Collaborate with staff to address any custodial or maintenance issues promptly.

· Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and request purchase as needed.

· Serve as main point of contact with third party maintenance companies such as plumbers and electricians.

Qualifications:

· At least 3 years of applicable custodial or maintenance experience.

· High School Diploma or equivalent.

· An associate degree or higher is preferred but not required.

· Strong Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

· Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

· Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.

Compensation:

· Starting rate is $15/hr., but negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
