Job Summary: Under the supervision of a certificated special education teacher, this position assists with general classroom duties relating to the instruction, behavioral development, and life skills of special education students. An employee in this classification may be assigned to assist one-on-one with a specific student in accordance with the student’s individualized educational plan (IEP). Must meet minimum paraeducator requirements.

Salary: $28.09 - $33.99. Salary is based upon the current ESP Salary Schedule (Level I); placement on the salary schedule will be determined by Human Resources DOE. FLSA Non-Exempt.

Work Year: Hours and days vary.
