Job Summary: To promote and maintain the health and well-being of students in the classroom setting to enable them to take full advantage of available educational opportunities. To assist the classroom teacher in meeting the physical and health care needs for medically fragile and special needs students during the school day.
Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training or equivalent is required.
Salary: $46.84 - $56.68. Salary is based upon the current ESP Collective Bargaining Agreement. Rate of pay will be in accordance with the current ESP salary schedule (Level III, 2023/24 ESP Salary Schedule). FLSA Non-Exempt.
Work Year: Hours and days vary.
Benefits: Washington state health insurance coverage (SEBB) and a Washington state retirement package, for eligible positions. Generally, you are eligible for SEBB benefits if you are anticipated to work at least 630 hours per school year (September 1 through August 31).
