HYBRID - Staff Accountant 

Our client has an immediate need for a Staff Accountant with experience closing multiple sets of books or properties. 

Duties:

• Prepare monthly community financial reporting packages to include balance sheet, profit and loss, A/R and A/P reports, cash flow summary, depreciation and fixed asset reports, bank reconciliations.
• Review and analyze monthly profit and loss general ledger activity.
• Reconcile monthly balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with audits, portfolio tracking, cash flow projections, budgeting, SOP planning and implementation, and other accounting projects.
• Complies with local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Review and verify invoices and check requests for proper approvals and accurate coding.
• Review and initiate ACH transactions.

• Prepare ad hoc analyses and reports when required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff.
• Able to deal with confidential information appropriately.
• Strong attention to detail and interest in accuracy.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite.

Requirements:

• College degree in Accounting or Business Administration
• One to three years of relevant accounting experience closing multiple sets of books or accounting for multiple properties. 

Our client offers a salary of $65k - $75k plus benefits and a Hybrid schedule of three days in the office and two working from home.
