Compensation: Daily rate – food, housing and airfare included

SUMMARY

Northline Seafoods is a seeking land-based runners to support our operations & fleet services during the 2024
Bristol Bay salmon season. Runners play a key part in ensuring our day-to-day operations run smoothly &
efficiently. This position must be available starting June 1st and able to work through the end of July – with
potential work into early August.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Perform daily errands such as mail runs, cargo pick-ups, supply runs, etc.
• Assist with personnel/airport pick-ups
• Assist with dock loading and unloading
• Pick up parts and supplies for fishermen
• Assist our fleet with net transport and storage
• Maintain and clean company vehicles
• Assist with daily office duties as needed
• Be on-call and available 7 days/week – assist as needed, when needed

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to lift at least 50lbs and assist in moving heavy gear.
• Ability to complete duties with minimal supervision.
• Ability to routinely work 12 hour shifts while occasionally working 16 during peak times.
• Positive, all-hands-on-deck attitude.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

This job operates in remote Alaska. This role routinely uses equipment common in transferring and moving cargo
including forklifts, trucks, etc. Employee must be able stand, walk, bend, kneel, twist and lift for long periods of time.
Ability to lift 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance. Must be able to drive a vehicle.
