Hood Cleaning Job Description - full time
Northland Fire & Safety, Inc. is looking to fill a full time hood cleaning technician position. This position involves traveling in a company vehicle with a co-worker and cleaning grease from a customer's kitchen exhaust system (fan, duct, filters, hoods, appliances, etc). Approximately 70% of these jobs are completed at night with the remainder being cleaned during the morning or afternoon. Employees will be working with scrapers, plastic and removing grease from kitchen exhaust systems located in restaurants, schools, health care facilities, etc. Northland Fire & Safety, Inc. has been in business for over 35 years.

Additional Notes/Responsibilities/Requirements
Basic mechanical ability
Occasional out of town overnights paid by the company per diem
Relatively physically fit
Ability to climb ladders, floors, kneeling
Flexible Schedule to the nature of the work schedule
Typical cleaning nights are Sunday through Thursday. Fri & Sat off
Must live in the Twin Ports
