We are looking to hire a Credit and Collections Administrator to support our manufacturing site in Amherst, New York. Salary range between $57K-$68K, depending on experience.

This is a high-level overview of the role we need you to fill for us:

This position is responsible for the collection of open accounts receivable, control credit issued to customers and perform credit evaluation of new customers. Develop bank policies while managing credit risk and resolve internal disputes preventing customer payment. Review and approve customer orders as required in a timely fashion. Review and evaluate existing customer credit limits on a regular basis and approve or recommend increases where appropriate, with company authorization levels.

These skills and experiences will make you a good fit for this role:

• Minimum of 2 year college or university degree in related field
• Basic accounting knowledge
• Credit analysis experience
• Professional communication skills with the ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels inside the organization and customers.
• Proficient use of all Microsoft applications, and previous experience with MRP systems, SAP or SAP Business One considered a plus.
• Must be self-motivated and results orientated and comfortable working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
• Customer service experience considered a plus.
• Must understand and follow all quality initiatives and processes for ISO 9001 and other quality standards.
