The road to being a high paid service technician starts on the lube rack. Being a capable lube tech, lends itself to being a technician assistant.
Once one is certified and trained to a sufficient level, he moves on to become a flat rate technician with huge earning potential.
It is extremely important that you have basic understanding of vehicle brakes and frontend components. Equally important is having a basic mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities
Oil Changes : Perform oil changes in an efficient and timely manner ensuring the highest quality service.
Maintenance Tasks : Rotate Tires, check air filters, cabin filters and fluids.
Training : Participate in on-the-job training to develop skills related to automotive technology and repair.
Clean Workspace : Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency in the repair process.
Support other technicians, and any other needs the entire service department needs.
Requirement
Education : High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience : No experience required; willingness to learn and grow in the automotive field.
Team Player : Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Stamina : Capable of standing, bending, and lifting heavy equipment.
Detail-Oriented : Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
