Full time STNA Scheduler/Transportation Driver

Attendance bonus offered, extra $1.00 an hr.

Extra $2.00 for an hour for night shift.

Northfield Village Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation is a rehabilitation facility located in Summit County, about 20 min Southeast of Cleveland, Ohio. Patients from the hospital continue their stay here for 2-3 weeks of rehabilitation and skilled nursing before heading home after surgery or illness.

The position of STNA Scheduler exists to work as an STNA and create daily and weekly schedules for the STNA's in the Facility.

The job responsibilities include:

• Creating the Monthly schedule for all Facility STNA's
• Creating daily STNA schedules
• Working a flexible schedule to cover open shifts as needed
• Communication with staff STNA's to facilitate picking up of additional shifts to cover open shifts.
• Reporting bonuses or incentive pay to HR Manager for payroll purposes
• Ensure that residents' personal care needs are provided for with an emphasis on quality, compassion, and timeliness.
• Ensure that residents' medical needs are addressed through the delivery of quality nursing care.
• Maintain physical environment in a clean, safe, and pleasant manner.
• Ensure that nutritional needs of residents are met in accordance with established care plan.
• Perform other related activities as assigned or requested

The STNA must be physically able to:

• Move (sit, stand, bend, lift) intermittently throughout the workday.
• Lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Assist in the evacuation of residents.

The candidate must have a current STNA license and a CLEAN driving record. Must be flexible, available weekdays and occasional weekends. Must be willing to work the floor when necessary.

Patient Transporter Duties

• Safely and efficiently transport patients to and from doctor’s appointments, local hospitals and the facility.
• Ensures patient has all appropriate medical equipment for travel and for doctor’s visits
• Has excellent time management skills to coordinate travel

Qualifications

• State Tested Nursing Assistant
• CPR certification preferred
• Previous patient transporting experience
