Northfield Hospital & Clinics is Hiring a Lawn Care Technician - Temporary Position Near Northfield, MN

Position Summary

The Summer Lawn Care Technician will be responsible for maintaining lawns and other outdoor areas by mowing, weed whipping, pulling weeds, and performing routine maintenance on lawn care equipment. You will work alongside other maintenance staff while performing these duties.

This is a temporary position, estimated to run from May-August with a maximum of 800 hours.

Key Responsibilities

Operate lawn care equipment, such as zero-turn riding mowers, push mowers, and weed whips.
Keep gardens and planters weed free by pulling out weeds or using weed killers.
Perform routine maintenance on lawn care equipment.
Follow safety protocols and procedures for operating equipment and handling chemicals.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude and provide excellent customer service to staff and visitors.

Qualifications

Ability to operate and maintain lawn care equipment safely and effectively, including weed whips.
Good physical condition, with the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in all weather conditions.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
Strong communication skills with the ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Current driver's license.
Previous lawn care experience preferred

Schedule

80hrs/2wks
Monday-Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm
Temporary position, estimated to run from May-August, maximum of 800 hours.
