Join the NVFS Family: We are looking to hire a Microsoft 365 and Endpoint Administrator to join the NVFS Information Technology team! As an essential member of the NVFS Technology department, you will oversee the administration of our Microsoft 365 and Azure ecosystems, manage endpoints (Windows, Android, and iOS), assist with technology improvement efforts, and provide second-level support to the NVFS user community and HelpDesk. Due to the highly collaborative nature of this role, it requires strong communication, collaboration, and attention to detail.

This position has a salary in the upper-60s.

In this role, you will:

  • Administer Microsoft 365 and Azure services, including, but not limited to, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive for Business, and Hyper-V instances, partnering closely with IT management and third-party providers.
  • Oversee endpoint management across agency computers and mobile devices using Intune and other Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools.
  • Coordinate (internally and with third-party providers) the deployment, management, and troubleshooting of network equipment and server infrastructure across NVFS sites.
  • Coordinate cybersecurity monitoring and initiatives to protect against threats, utilizing Azure and CrowdStrike.
  • Lead projects related to system upgrades, migrations, and integrations, ensuring minimal disruption to end-users.
  • Serve as a Level 2 support resource, assisting with complex issues escalated from the help desk and providing knowledge transfer to improve team capabilities.
  • Help drive the education of the team and the Agency on technology topics as needed to improve digital literacy across the Agency.

Your Background: We understand that you may obtain skills through a variety of professional, personal, educational, and volunteer experiences.

  • At least three (3) years of hands-on experience managing MS365 environments, Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), and Mobile Device Management (MDM)
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS365 configuration, administration, management, and troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of IT security practices and technologies
  • Working knowledge of cloud-based systems, tools, and backup (e.g., Azure, AWS, Veeam)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Oral and written fluency in English; additional languages welcome
  • Ability to communicate respectfully, clearly, effectively, tactfully, and patiently in person and on the phone with a diverse population, maintaining a solid customer service orientation
  • BS in computer science, engineering, or a related field a plus
  • Related certifications a plus (e.g., CompTIA Server , Network , Cloud ; Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, Teams Administrator, Modern Desktop Administrator)

Additional Requirements:

  • Successful completion of background checks required upon hire
  • Must be willing and able to travel to NVFS locations to monitor and assess technology infrastructure as needed
  • May be called upon to work beyond regular working hours as the nature of this position (operational support services) involves 24/7/365 agency operations
  • Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, stoop, lift/carry up to 50 lbs. of equipment, and reach with hands and arms.
