Insurance Authorization Representative
We are looking for a dynamice Insurance Authorization Reprensentative. You will be responsible for verification of benefits for all hospital patients. Arranges for the efficient and orderly pre-admission of inpatients and outpatients, and appropriate follow up for emergency department admissions. Ensures that the patient information is collected and that patients are aware of hospital policies and procedures. Interviews incoming patient or representatives and enters information required for admission into computer database. Distributes appropriate information to ancillary departments. Participates in performance improvement and CQI activities.

Qualifications:Job Requirements for Insurance Authorization Representative
High school graduate or equivalent
Ability to type 40 wpm comprehensive general clerical skills and computer literacy required. Medical terminology preferred.
