This Anesthesia Tech opportunity is per diem and offers a convenient day shift schedule.

Job Summary:
The Anesthesia Tech maintains a smooth flow of anesthetic cases, in a timely manner, by assisting the anesthesiologist before, during, and after induction. Has a working knowledge of anesthetic drugs and agents. Is able to pre-test the anesthesia machines and reports deficiency to appropriate manufacturing representative and leadership. Upon request, is able to prepare appropriate equipment necessary for arterial lines, Swan Ganz, and central lines. Is available to assist in room turnover as required.

Qualifications:
Anesthesia Tech Job Requirements:
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Associates or BS degree in a healthcare field preferred.
  • ASATT certification required within one year of hire.
  • Current BLS certification
