Northern Light Home Care and Hospice

Department: Home Health - Various locations

Position is located: Northern Light Home Care & Hospice - Various locations

Work Type: Full Time

Hours Per Week: 40.00

Work Schedule: No Hours Assigned

Summary :

The Nursing Sponsorship Student completes the coursework required to graduate from an accredited school of nursing. While going to school the student works in a clinical capacity (if holds a current clinical licenser or certification) or non-clinical capacity at Northern Light Health.

Responsibilities:

  • Attends class and lab related to school and study for said classes up to 24 hours/week.
  • Works remainder of hours when not in school or studying.
  • Maintains commitment to work up to full FTE when not in school (40 hours/week)
  • Other Duties.

Other Information :

  • BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required to be obtained prior to independent visits.
  • Current license to drive in the state of Maine, with reliable transportation and agency required auto liability insurance. Must be able to travel within assigned region, or statewide, depending on the position.
  • Age minimum: 18 years old
  • Must be reliable, punctual, neat and organized.
  • Must be willing to perform tasks as requested, willing to learn job requirements and able to follow directions.
