This position will primarily cover Influenza and Covid-19 vaccine clinics during the business week with occasional weekends.

Summary:

The Immunization Clinic LPN is responsible for the provision of nursing care at immunization clinics under the direction of a registered professional nurse. The Immunization Clinic LPN confers and collaborates with physicians if indicated in the course of an immunization activity. Performance reflects the mission and values of Home Care & Hospice.

Responsibilities:

Clinical Practice- Collaborates with members of the team to provide immunization clinic services for all clients under the direction of a registered professional nurse. • Adheres to discipline specific clinical practice standards. • Acknowledges and understands the LPN role as it relates to interdisciplinary team members. • Recognizes symptoms and changes in the client’s condition and provides feedback to the primary clinician, clinical supervisor, and/or physician to assist in the evaluation of care. • Provides service and produces work at or above expected levels of quality and consistent with agency defined quantitative standards. • Documents accurately, completely and in accordance with Agency policy. • Demonstrates knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to provide care to the age groups served. Performs additional duties as required or assigned.

Other Information :

Current license to drive in the state of Maine, with reliable transportation and agency required auto liability insurance. Must be able to travel within assigned region, or statewide, depending on the position.
