Summary/Objective
As a member of the Marketing, Volunteer and Philanthropy (MVP) team the Editorial & Marketing Specialist is responsible for providing support to the entire Food Bank to create engaging content for various channels that shows the impact of our work and inspires the public to take action. The ideal candidate is a creative and passionate storyteller with excellent writing skills in a fast-paced environment. The Editorial & Marketing Specialist will work closely with our marketing team on all advertising materials and presentations that will inform and engage stakeholders. This role will help bring the brand voice and tone to Food Bank communications to increase resources and awareness for the organization's programs, including My Pantry Express, Mobile Markets, SNAP outreach, and senior and child nutrition programs. Written and verbal Spanish fluency is a requirement for this role.

Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position located in our Geneva office. Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.; with occasional evening or weekend hours required. A hybrid schedule with a combination of remote and in-office work days can be discussed but a minimum of 3 days a week in office is required.
Travel Regional travel throughout our 13-county service area may be needed for this position (less than 10%)
