Northern Emeralds/Tyson 2.0/Evol Job Description: Salesperson

TITLE: Salesperson

Wage: $50,000 annual salary with commission structure;
Commissions are to be paid out monthly based on total sales delivered and total collections. Collections made on AR past 120 days do not receive collection commissions. Commissions will be broken into tiers based on monthly sales delivered as follows;

Minimum pricing must be achieved for full commissions, otherwise, half commission is received. COD orders will trigger an allowable 5% discount. The Executive team must approve orders below these minimums for full commission.

Hours: Remote sales. Hiring is based on a 90-day probationary/trial period.

Reports to: VP of Sales/Director of Sales/Sales Managers

Summary of Position:

The mission of the Salesperson is to maximize the revenue of Northern Emeralds, EVOL by Future, and Tyson 2.0 products to his/her assigned group of delivery and dispensary services. To achieve this goal, the Salesperson collaborates with the Sales Manager and the rest of the sales team to provide clients with exceptional service, seek out new clients, and innovate new strategies for selling Northern Emeralds products.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Actively participate in the Northern Emeralds sales strategy for an entire city or region, focusing on a particular list of clients with whom the Salesperson has a special relationship.

Coordinate with the Sales Manager regarding work schedules, client orders, and any other sales logistics.

Communicate regularly and professionally with clients, nurturing personal relationships based on mutual respect and love of cannabis.

Receive and record feedback/criticism from clients, revise sales strategies according to their needs, and act as the eyes and ears of the market for the company.

● Manage accounts by providing communication when necessary, coordinating events and budtender training, promos, etc.

● Coordinate with Sales leadership and the Accounting department to ensure prompt AR collections, following all AR SOPs and directives.

Help expand the Northern Emeralds client base wherever possible, recruiting new clients as much as possible.

● Sell available inventory as quickly as possible, focusing on aging inventory and developing strategies for harder-to-sell products.

● Arrange for payment on all orders, encouraging clients to pay COD whenever possible.

● Use of Badgermaps for route planning, territory management, check-ins, and active account management.

● Follow all Sales SOPs, retraining as needed with Sales Managers.

Physical Requirements:

● Must be able to sit or stand while performing repetitive motions for long periods.

● Must be able to safely carry up to 30 pounds at a time, including up and down stairs.

● Must be able to drive and visit clients as necessary.

● Able to assist others in carrying (individually 50 lbs) up to 80 lbs, when needed.

● Able to kneel or crouch while reaching for long periods.

● Able to work at a fast pace for prolonged periods, high energy.

Qualities and Qualifications Desired:

● Must be at least 21 years old.

● Minimum of 3 years sales experience.

● Reliable transportation to and from work.

● Pass a background check

● Must have and know how to navigate a smartphone/tablet and basic computerknowledge.

● Need a current driver’s license and a clean driving record

● Positive attitude and strong work ethic

● Calm demeanor when speaking with authorities

● Must be able to prioritize and perform tasks simultaneously

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

● Ability to follow oral and written instructions

● Must be able to change tasks frequently and without much notice
