This position will be responsible for monitoring and completing the Bank’s Loan Review program for Commercial Lending. The Portfolio Manager will conduct ongoing review of financials, loan approvals and all credit related functions. The Portfolio Manager gathers and analyzes credit information on current borrowers and independently develops sound conclusions supported by thorough and concise presentations of findings regarding the risk assessment of existing credits.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Independently underwrite existing commercial lending relationships of low-to-medium complexity in accordance with bank policy. Maintain a strong knowledge of standard calculations and credit analysis techniques and use to develop sound conclusions supported by thorough and concise presentations of findings.
• Monitor commercial loan portfolio including but not limited to delinquent loans, matured loans, line of credit renewals, construction status reports, etc.
• Complete annual line of credit reviews and renewals.
• Maintain accurate document management records of commercial lending clients in addition to managing the process to request, collect, and store customer documents.
• Assess the adhere to internal credit policies and loan administration procedures while obtaining knowledge of new and existing regulations (State and Federal).
• Participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• College degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent education preferred.
• Excellent decision making /problem solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Excel and Word and familiar with basic computer applications.
• Experience in banking and/or in a similar analytical position preferred.
• Clear writing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and adapt to changes in working environment required.
