Northeastern University is Hiring a Temp Citizen Scientist - Alcohol Research Study Near Boston, MA

About the Opportunity The Department of Health Sciences is looking to hire a Temporary Citizen Scientist for Research Study. Responsibilities The candidate will meet with research team on a regular basis (bi-monthly to monthly with weekly possible during certain periods) to provide input based on personal experience to inform a smartphone application to be developed to facilitate use of technologies designed to facilitate moderate alcohol use among young adults. In addition to meeting attendance and participation, citizen scientists will be asked to try the app during and outside of actual drinking situations. The citizen scientist will not be a research participant though. Any data from the citizen scientist collected by the app in development will not be retained. Qualifications Candidate should be between the ages of 18-25 Interest in smartphone technology and health-related research Willingness to speak and provide input during meetings that include senior scientists in the alcohol research field.
