About the Opportunity The Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University invites applications for one or more positions at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor/Associate Teaching Professor/Full Teaching Professor beginning January 2024 or September 2024 at one of our California campuses: Silicon Valley and/or Oakland; we offer the MS program in both, and we also offer undergraduate programs in the Oakland Campus. Responsibilities: We are seeking faculty to teach graduate and undergraduate courses, from introductory to advanced levels, in Computer Science and Data Science. We are especially seeking candidates with teaching/industry experience in software engineering. The successful candidate will teach courses, create course content and materials, and collaborate with colleagues to develop academic relationships within the university and the local community. Qualifications: Candidates must hold a PhD in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution by the appointment start date. Academic rank at the non-tenure track Associate and Full Teaching Professor levels will be commensurate with experience and qualifications reflecting a record of demonstrated teaching excellence.
