Description of Position
Northeastern State University invites applications for a full time, non-tenure track, 12-month, Instructor position – Nursing in the Department of Health Professions; physical presence on campus is required.
Responsibilities
Teaching in the online RN to BSN and MSN programs.
Maintain knowledge of the profession, healthcare, and content areas of teaching assignments.
Maintain office hours consistent with institutional policies.
Engage in professional and scholarly activities, e.g., teaching, discovery, integration, &/or application appropriate to the clinical assistant professor rank.
Engage in professional, departmental, college, and university activities; and involvement in university and community.
Experience
Previous nursing and online teaching experience, strong leadership, research, or community experience, and computer skills.
Education
Masters in Nursing; Doctorate required for rank and salary of Clinical Assistant Professor, non-tenured track. Must be a RN with an Oklahoma state license.
