Our client, a trading firm based out of Chicago, is looking to bring on a Head of Client Services to thier department. In this role, you'll have the ability to manage a team of 5-10 while operating in a flexible hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Design and Implement Onboarding Processes: Develop, execute, and continuously refine a streamlined onboarding process and regular updates for counterparties, ensuring efficiency and compliance with all internal teams.
• Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with various internal departments (e.g., compliance, legal, tax, operations) to ensure onboarding processes meet evolving regulatory and policy requirements as well as new business models.
• Manage Priorities and Communication: Handle multiple priorities and keep internal trading teams and stakeholders informed about the status of high-priority onboardings; identify and escalate issues as necessary.
• Ensure Information Security: Ensure that the team manages sensitive and confidential information in accordance with company policies.
• Stay Updated on Regulations: Keep up-to-date with both internal and external regulatory changes, proactively adjusting processes to maintain compliance.
• Monitor and Optimize Procedures: Continuously monitor and analyze onboarding procedures, implementing data-driven improvements to enhance speed and efficiency.
• Problem-Solving: Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to anticipate, analyze, escalate, and resolve issues independently.
• Team Support and Development: Provide guidance, training, and support to team members, fostering high-quality performance and professional growth.
• Documentation and Resources: Create and maintain detailed documentation and resources, including onboarding policies, procedures, and checklists for counterparties.

Required Skills:

• Educational Background: BA/BS degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• Industry Experience: 6 years of experience in the trading or financial services industry with a solid understanding of KYC requirements and regulations.
• Leadership Experience: Proven track record in a leadership role, successfully managing a team.
• Relationship Building: Exceptional skills in building relationships, effectively engaging with internal stakeholders and external counterparties.
• Ability to Handle Pressure: Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and manage challenging deadlines with a high sense of urgency.
• Team Development: Commitment to developing team members both personally and professionally.
