Position Summary
Provides a quality customer service experience while assisting with the scheduling of visits for ancillary services. Performs secretarial duties including typing, filing, answering telephones and making copies.
Position Accountabilities
Answers calls in a timely and professional manner.
Obtains necessary information from physician offices or patient.
Verifies procedure meets medical necessity.
Ensures all scheduled patients have orders.
Schedules appointments according to procedure.
Communicates with and educates patients as needed.
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Minimum Education - High School or equivalent
Preferred Education - One year work experience in health field
Preferred Experience - Previous clerical experience
