Overview:

Join our team as an Ophthalmic Technician and play a crucial role in providing exceptional eye care services. We are seeking a dedicated individual with a passion for patient care and eye health to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

- Perform preliminary testing on patients, including visual acuity measurements
- Assist ophthalmologists with patient examinations and minor office-based procedures
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using Compulink.
- Provide exceptional patient care by ensuring comfort and addressing inquiries
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality services

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a medical setting, preferably in ophthalmology or optometry
- Familiarity with Compulink or similar electronic medical record systems
- Knowledge of ophthalmic procedures, terminology, and equipment
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages, including pediatrics
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
