Northeast Valley Health Corporation is Hiring a Registered Dental Assistant I Near North Hollywood, CA

Assists dentist at chair side, employing the latest concept of four-handed dentistry.
Reports to: Dental Director/Dental Manager
Qualifications:
1.High school graduate or General Education Development (GED) Certificate equivalency.
2.Registered Dental Assistant license issued by the Dental Board of California.
3.No minimum experience as a Registered Dental Assistant (Entry Level)
4.Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant I.
5.Current Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification from the American Heart Association.
6.Computer skills in electronic health record systems, and database systems.
7.Fluency in English (speak, read and write).
8.Fluency in Spanish (speak, translate, read and write) required.
9.Current California driver’s license, appropriate insurance coverage acceptable to the NEVHC’s insurance carrier.
10.Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served and has knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span. He or she is able to identify and categorize each patient’s age specific grouping of needs, such as those for infant, adolescent, or geriatric patients.
