Light Duty Wrecker Operator will be expected to safely drive and operate a variety of vehicles, including, but not limited to: light duty flatbeds and wheel lifts, service vehicles, and box trucks. All training will be provided to the operator. Operator will become familiar with methods of securing loads, preparing vehicles for tow/transport, and recovery of vehicles that have departed from roadway. Safety is always a primary concern.
Newer equipment, with more on order.
NO CDL REQUIRED. No wrecker experience required. Basic mechanical understanding very helpful. We will train the candidate.
May require long days/some overnight/on-call schedule. Able to accommodate most availability. Please talk to us about any concerns with schedule at hire and we will let you know if we can make it work for you. Typical schedule is four 12-hour days, but that is adjustable.
