Pain Technician-Medical Assistant Responsibilities...

Under the supervision of the nurse manager and in conjunction with the licensed nurse and medical director, the Pain Technician performs selected patient care, medical record, sterilization, and unit activities. The technician’s role is to assist as a team member to support the process of care delivery in the clinic. The technician must be supportive of the pain service process. Their interactions with the patient and family/significant other shall be such as to demonstrate respect for them as individuals and sensitivity to their circumstances.

To qualify you must...

1. Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Nurse Assistant preferred.

2.Clerical or secretarial experience

3.Experience with an office sterilization process, desirable

4.Trained and certified biennially in BLS Healthcare Provider Level CPR.
