Northeast Professional Caregivers in Canton, Ohio, is seeking an experienced full-time Staffing/Scheduling Coordinator$* 2500 Sign-on bonus.*

This position is responsible for scheduling home care patient services with caregivers, recruiting caregivers, coordinating care with case managers/patients/ and staff members, and updating patients' schedules in our home care software. Also, this position is responsible for the accuracy of caregivers' timesheets/schedules, payroll, and invoices for billing.

This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative team in a position vital to our continued growth and success. For the right candidate, this will be a full-time position with the opportunity of a sign-on bonus of $2,500 for qualifying candidates.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process referrals for home care aide services and schedule delivery of services according to patient specifics, authorizations assigning cases to staff caregivers.
  • .Maintains an up-to-date weekly schedule of caregivers assigned to cases and patient’s schedule showing patient/caregiver match, visit date, service hours, and authorizations.
  • Schedules caregivers keeping in mind patient requests, supervisory visits, and missed visits.
  • Notifies patients/family and case manager of initial aide placements and/or changes in aide assignments.
  • Communicates changes in scheduled services to patients and/or families as appropriate.
  • Maintains up-to-date information related to aide placement, patient hospitalization, discharges, insurance changes, and service authorizations in the home care software and communications.
  • Documents patient/family/caregiver complaints/incidents and immediately refer them to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Maintains liaison with ongoing caregiver training and recruitment opportunities.
  • Maintains a positive and productive relationships with patients and caregivers through routine communications
  • Makes recommendations regarding staffing needs.
  • Performs accurate verification of caregiver’s timesheets by matching them to a weekly schedule.
  • Prepares bi-weekly payroll report using a verified weekly schedule to pay the staff for days worked accurately and/or time off in the absence of supervisor
  • Performs other tasks as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

· Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working and communicating effectively with a wide range of people

· Ability to perform excellent phone skills and strong all-around communication skills

· Great energy, empathy and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done

· Ability to assist with sales, marketing, and public relations effort

· Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to be highly organized, able to prioritize and change direction as needed

· Ability to work in high volume (sometimes stressful) work environment

· Ability to work effectively in a team, contributing positively to team operations and working relationships

· Ability to be self-directed with minimum supervision, flexible and supportive

· Must have strong computer skills with computerized scheduling, MS Office

· Previous Home Care Caregivers scheduling and recruiting experiences preferred

· On-call weekend rotation duties

Requirements:

· Type minimum of 40 words a minute

· Flexibility and good time management skills A MUST

· Strong attention to detail with excellent organization skills

· Minimum of 1 year of customer experience

· Must be reliable

· Sales experience helpful

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour
