Summary

Provides a comprehensive range of services including the installation, maintenance, support, and repair of both computer/network systems and security alarm systems. The specialist will ensure the seamless operation and security of technological resources, enhancing the company's efficiency and customer service excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to company policies, procedures, regulations, and any specifications set forth by federal, state, or local authorities, including the company-approved safety manual.

• Install, service, support, and repair network equipment, computer systems, security systems, VoIP systems, and alarm system equipment accurately and with quality workmanship.

• Operate and maintain tools and equipment necessary for the installation, repair, and maintenance of alarm system equipment in an efficient and safe manner.

• Work closely with clients at all levels to ensure their requirements are met in a timely manner.

• Test and repair circuits, sensors, backup batteries, keypad programming, sirens, and all security features to ensure proper functioning and to diagnose malfunctions.

• Prepare client service documentation as required.

• Demonstrate an ability to work on own initiative, be self-motivated and disciplined, and work efficiently under pressure.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Technical certifications preferred. Minimum of two years’ experience related to integrated security systems is preferred. Basic understanding of networking is desirable.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Must hold and maintain a valid Oklahoma Driver's License. May require appropriate certifications in one or more specific applications depending on job assignments and the ability to hold the most

current and appropriate certifications as needed. Pursues self training and personal development to enhance knowledge of products and services related to current technologies.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is frequently required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, stand and use hands and fingers to handle, or feel. Employee is required to climb ladders and work at heights up to 30’ and often working in awkward positions and in small areas.

The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
