Description

As aTMS Medical Technician, you'll be an essential part of our clinical support team. Your primary roleis to oversee the TMS clinical services as well asprovideexceptional customer service to make sure the highest quality work standards are achieved andmaintainedaccording to practice policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide TMS treatment according to specific physician protocols: Set up the TMS medical device andmonitorall aspects of the treatment sessions for patient comfort and treatmentaccuracy
• Accurately enter all patient informationrequiredinto the system and record session notes and superbill by end of theday
• Strong communicationskills that provide support, reflective listening, and compassion to patients struggling with depression or other various disorders
• Provide excellent patient care and treat them with compassion while developing trust andrapport
• Administer psychiatric rating scales and document outcomes onmodalities
• Schedule andmaintainpatient appointmentsrelativeto all services offered that encompass patienttreatment
• Have flexibility with time schedules to fit patients needs andrequirements
• Answer patient phone calls and adjust the schedule to patient needs asnecessary
• Maintain patient safety by wearing personal protective equipment asrequired
• Assistwith the patient resource center and integrate the current and potentialpatients
• Investigate and communicate insurance coverage and verificationissues
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with patient comfort, coil contact, and TMS system set-up throughouttreatment
• Possess basic clinical assessment skills toidentifyreal or potential adverse events during treatment where treatment should be interrupted orterminated
• Communicate concerns to the TMS coordinator, clinical director, or physician whennecessary
• Follows company policies and procedures as well as adhering to state and/or federalregulations
• Work with the necessaryNeuroneticsor other various representatives toaccomplishother variousduties
• Performadditionalduties asneeded

Qualifications:

• 1 or more years of medical office experience (Preferred)
• Medical Assistant (Preferred)
• Knowledge of medical authorizations (Preferred)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Associate orbachelor'sDegree (Preferred)
• Completion of TMS Certification during training
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Understand andcomply withHIPAA
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work well with ateam
• CPR Certified (or willing to get certification)
