HR Responsibilities:

• Assist with all internal and external HR-related matters. Streamline company policies and procedures and ensure they are implemented appropriately. Update employee handbook.
• Assist with the recruitment process by identifying and interviewing candidates, conducting reference checks and onboarding of new employees.
• Manage internal staff relations and maintain a positive working environment while following company core values. Staff advocate to handle internal inquiries, complaints, injuries, and worker’s compensation.
• Evaluate employee performance. Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews. Appraise their pay scale accordingly.
• Take appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations.
• Maintain physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits and attendance records. Manage the organization’s employee database and prepare reports.
• Perform all aspects of payroll processing.
• Administer employee benefits, business licenses, and risk management.

HR Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in human resources or related.
• 2 years of HR experience.
• Understanding of Labor Law and employment equity regulations.
• Efficient HR administration and people management skills.
• Excellent record-keeping skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer literacy with capability in email, MS Office and related HR software.
• Good organizational and conflict management skills.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality related to sensitive company and employee information.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
