Join our team! We are hiring Counselors for our general recreation summer camps, which include but not limited to Camp Sunshine, World Explorers Camp and many more. No two days are the same, as campers ages 3-14 participate in a variety of activities, games, arts and crafts in a classic camp atmosphere. As a Counselor, you’ll be able to help create an engaging and memorable summer for campers.

Pay & Shift Information

Starting at $15/hour.

Must be available for the full 8 weeks of the camp season, June 10-August 2, work hours are usually from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm*, some evening hours may be needed for staff meetings.

Must be able to attend all staff summer camp training on June 4, 5 and 6. 

*Full day and half day camps are offered this summer, hours may vary on camp needs. 

Pre- and Post- Camps are available: Summer Warm-Up and Summer Kick Off Camps 6/3-6/7 8:30am - 3:30 pm, Overtime Sports Camp and Encore Skate and Dance Camp 8/5-8/9 8:30am - 3:30 pm. Preschool Explorations 8/5-8/9 9am - 1pm. Awesome August 8/5-8/16 8:30 am -3:30 pm.

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide direct supervision to a group of campers. Implement a variety of activities structured to provide quality recreational experiences for campers. Counselors also act as a liaison between parents, children and Recreation administration.

Qualifications

Must be at least 16 years old and have experience working with children. Preference given to those with previous camp or closely related experience.
