echny Prairie Activity Center is seeking a dynamic and passionate Barre instructor to join our Fitness team. As a Barre instructor you will lead engaging and challenging classes to deliver a full body workout to our members. We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about helping clients achieve their fitness goals, providing exceptional instructor and creating a positive and motivating class experience.

Design and instruct group fitness classes while providing guidance and support for each class participant, within established program guidelines. Class instruction may vary based on the level of participant experience and age.

Skills & Abilities
• Teach through demonstration of specific subject matter being taught
• Lead and interact positively with classroom participants – children and adults
• Customer service focus
• Can work independently and efficiently
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Knowledge
Thorough knowledge of subject matter being taught and/or applicable education and/or certification required to provide instruction for material being taught.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent. One (1) year of applicable group fitness instruction experience is required.

• Accredited Barre Certification

• Previous Group Fitness experience preferred

• Strong understanding of anatomy, movement mechanics and exercise physiology

• Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills

• CPR/AED and First Aid Certification or ability to obtain within one (1) month of hire
