Position Summary:

Northampton Area Pediatrics is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care in accordance with NAP protocols and provider direction. The goal of our clinical team is to provide patient-centered care based upon individual patient and family needs.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Maintain and preserve confidentiality of all protected health information in accordance with HIPAA and confidentiality law.
• Monitor provider schedules to identify patients ready for rooming.
• Obtain and document accurate and appropriate vital signs, along with reconciliation of medications and verification of allergies.
• Review and complete medical treatments as ordered, which includes but is not limited to injections, wound care, lab procedures, DME dispensing, administration of medications, vital signs, ear wash etc.
• Complete documentation of treatment administered according to NAP protocols and clinical best practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must hold a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Excellent clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and technical)
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
