Job Title: Patient Appointment Scheduler
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Patient Appointment Scheduler. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling appointments for patients and ensuring that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule appointments for patients in person, over the phone, or through email
- Confirm appointments with patients and provide necessary information
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Communicate with healthcare providers to ensure that patient needs are met
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families
- Follow up with patients to ensure that they are satisfied with their experience
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in computer systems and software
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
