North Suffolk Mental Health Association is Hiring a Centralized Admissions Coordinator Near Boston, MA

North Suffolk is looking for Centralized Admissions Coordinators to join our team! They will be responsible for enrollment, referrals, administrative and operations requirements for admissions to all NSCS programs. The Centralized Admissions Coordinators will be the professional and friendly voice of NSCS that welcomes those looking for services and are vital part of our team.
This position may have the ability to work from home once fully trained on site.
What you'll do:
  • Ensure timely responses to the Centralized Admissions line and monitor data regularly.
  • Ensure all client records/charts are up to agency standards including entering all client admissions and keeping information up tot o date.
  • File/Scan al client intake information into medical records/
  • Complete and mail or fax all PCP releases and forms.
  • Document correspondence with outside sources via Information Exchange Note.
  • Ensure the input of SDOH screener in eHana as well as required paperwork is signed and inputted.
  • Enter ESM forms for BSAS licensed program.
  • Monitor the patient notification (Open beds) system and any BHHL referrals and responses.
  • Run client insurance in real time.
  • Coordinate with collateral providers and community partners.
  • Complete all documentation as required in the electronic health record.
  • Facilitate communication to treatment teams when patients are admitted.
  • Complete fee assessments and review insurance and payment options with clients as needed.
What You'll Need:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED completion required, Associate Degree preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Previous office experience and computer skills required. Knowledge of Windows application required (Word, Excel, and Access)/
    • Be or be able to become CPR/FA certified according to NSCS policy.
    • Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of human service experience with similar population preferred.
