North State Dental Partners, Inc. is Hiring an Insurance coordinator Near Burlington, NC

North State Dental Partners, located in Burlington, NC is searching for an experienced and detail oriented Dental Insurance Coordinator to join our growing Accounts Receivable (AR) team.

Our company provides a variety of administrative and support services to dentists and their teams, across multiple locations throughout NC.

Our Insurance Coordinators play a significant role in the success of all our teams and practices. Applicant should have substantial knowledge of how dental insurance works.

At least two (2) years of experience in a dental setting, with dental insurance experience, preferred. Applicant must have a strong work ethic as well as an outgoing personality and positive attitude.

Applicant must have great verbal and written communication skills. Our ideal candidate will work well with teammates, but also function very well individually.

Current opening is a permanent, full-time position working 4 or 5 days (32 - 40 hours each week), depending on candidate’s availability.

Position will be a hybrid arrangement of working days in-office, and other days remotely.

This position will be responsible for :

  • performing all systems and processes for collecting payments from insurance carriers
  • posting insurance payments and processing EOBs / ERAs
  • processing any secondary insurance claims
  • working insurance aging, and following up on any outstanding claims with carriers
  • patient billing and statements
  • collections
  • communicating with AR team and practice leadership concerning issues with claims submission and / or benefits verification
