Company DescriptionNon-Temp Full-time Permanent Position for Large Pharma/Biotech Company.Job DescriptionPlacement: Direct HireJob Title: Head of Tax Salary Range: $200,000 to $250,000 (DOE)JOB DESCRIPTION:•Direct organization’s federal/state income tax reporting, strategies, policy development andimplementation•Oversee timely filing of all US federal/state income tax returns including consolidated,combined, unitary, separate company and partnership returns and supports audit defense ofthese returns when examined by tax authorities•Interpret the law, regulations, and administrative guidance•Represent the corporation on various tax matters with administrative authorities•Ensure compliance with Internal Control Systems (ICS) requirements•Direct and oversees process improvement efforts related to income tax reporting, income taxreturn preparation and as well as tax ICS framework•Direct, develop and motivate staff of managers and their direct reports. Qualifications •An undergraduate degree in finance plus a MBA with a concentration in finance or the equivalent experience as a Certified Public Accountant is required. •Minimum of 15 years of experience in corporate tax planning strategies •Broad knowledge of accounting, finance, legal, taxes, and insurance is required •Strong background in working with the Internal Revenue Service •Broad working knowledge and experience of acquisitions and divestituresAdditional Comments:•Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills are essential in order to develop and maintain contact with internal and external contacts. Additional InformationJob Requirements & Qualifications:Must be a US Citizen/Green Card HolderMust have Verification of all certifications and degrees.Please Do Not apply unless you meet the qualifications above.Do you have experience in the Parma/Biotech Industry?Location: Pittsburgh, PASalary Range: $200,000 to $250,000 (DOE, Depends on Experience)
