North Star Ford is Hiring a Title Clerk - Full Time Near Duluth, MN
NorthStar Ford is looking for a motivated, eager to learn Title Clerk to join our team! As a Title Clerk, you will be responsible for managing title work for Minnesota and out-of-state customers, as well as ensuring store transactions are processed timely and in accordance to NorthStar Ford’s policies and procedures. You will work closely with our store Controller and the rest of our Business Office team. To be successful in this position, you must have a strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, along with accounting, data entry, and title work knowledge.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Title work for new and used vehicles, trade-ins, title transfers, and lien releases.
- Verifies that funds have been collected and properly paid before processing title applications.
- Stay up-to-date on title regulations.
- Accurately prepare tax and title documents.
- Submit documentation to appropriate government office, such as the Department of Motor Vehicles, within regulated time frames.
- Other general clerical tasks, such as filing, data entry, and accounting.
We are seeking to hire someone with the following skills:
- Title Clerk experience is preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; specifically, Excel.
- Data entry and basic accounting knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Highly organized with prominent multi-tasking capability.
- Must work well in a fast-paced environment.
This is a full-time Monday-Friday position. We are closed on Sundays. Candidates must submit and successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test.
