We are seeking an H.R. Specialist . The person in this position will assist in recruiting and hiring of employees, develop and oversee onboarding and off-boarding of employees, and ensures compliance with applicable laws, licensure, and accreditation entities (i.e.: DOL, EEO/AA, ADA, FMLA, COBRA, HIPAA, etc.). Supervises and trains the Administrative Assistant. Develop and execute retention strategies to support workplace culture. Process unemployment and worker's compensation claims. Establish and maintain personnel records. Coordinate and participate in the development of the employee's benefit package and support/educate the employees.

This is a full-time position. Preferred qualifications include a BA in human resources administration or related field, two years progressive work experience in human resources, staff supervision, or personnel management. Must have valid driver's license, ability to be covered by agency insurance, and be able to pass agency background checks.
