North Spring is currently welcoming an Admissions Support Specialist to join our team.
Position Purpose: The Admissions Support Specialist assists the admissions department by aiding clients, families, and referral sources with admissions procedures, including information on treatment, insurance, and the admission process. The Admissions Support Specialist provides communication support to all departments in operating the facility telephone system, greeting and helping visitors, and other clerical duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications: Good verbal and written skills, ability to rotate shifts and programs as necessary, ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information. Must consistently exhibit mental and emotional ability to understand and perform the essential functions of the job.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in human services. Master’s degree in human services preferred.
Licensure/Certification: CPR certification, or able to complete certification.
Experience: Prefer experience with children and adolescents in psychiatric facility or rehabilitation program.
